This is an enlarged copy of the 1878 Milanese bass by Enrico Bajoni I owned several years ago. It has been a great player for my gigs since completion in 2020, with a huge bass and pure yet complex tone when bowing. The model compared very favorably to the original instrument, which made its way back to Maryland with a BSO player a couple of years ago. Thanks to Mark Huang for organizing that thrilling meeting! At the time he commented, “Wow, you might be the next big thing!”
